Objectives
By the end of this presentation. participants will be able to
Describe the sonographic appearance of normal and abnormal total hip arthroplasty components, including expected postoperative findings and implant related artifacts
Differentiate between mechanical and infectious etiologies of hip pain in the postoperative arthroplasty patient using ultrasound features
Demonstrate the role of ultrasound-guided procedures in the evaluation and management of total hip arthroplasty complications including aspiration and injection techniques
