Course Overview

What to disclose prior to the Hip Ultrasound Course and what Terminology to expect during the delivery of the presentations of this course


Course Objectives

By the end of this session, participants will be able to

-apply standardized lexicon in the documentation and reporting of hip ultrasound examinations

-recognize the value of a shared lexicon in multidisciplinary communication between radiologists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, PM&R doctors, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physical therapists

-integrate lexicon principles into case-based interpretation, ensuring clarity and reproducibility in clinical practice and research

- evaluate emerging terminology and classification systems for hip pathology, including tendinopathy, bursitis, and impingement syndromes


Target Audience

radiologists, orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, PM&R doctors, rheumatologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and physical therapists
